Good spirits are good life

The word of God also says the joy of the Lord is our strength. We must keep a good spirit by eating right and meditating on the good things, and applying Gods words as Philippians 4:8 says: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. As in the days of Nehemiah, we have strength in joy. The people of God were in a destitute situation; the walls were broken down, the Elite leaders were oppressing them, and they were captives in the land that God had promised. Nevertheless, it took only one to cast vision and implement a plan of salvation, and that one was Nehemiah, the man of God ordained to bring resurrection and healing. However, before we can go forward, we must tap into the joy that God has given us. Proverbs 18:14 is a stark reminder that a wounded spirit will disallow us the victory. So here we are: shake off the old rags of yesterday, the tattered and forgotten dreams of yesteryear that have ebbed and eroded, and put on the promises of the blessed futures of today. Write the vision, prepare your heart, and declare your victory because the battle is not ours but the Lord's.
